Program Description
Turning Point of Arnold, LLC is a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility licensed and certified by the state of California that offers a 30, 60 or 90-day inpatient program. Our small and intimate facility will house up to 12 male and female adults suffering from the disease of addiction. While in Turning Point, individuals impacted by the disease of addiction and alcoholism will be provided with education about their disease, both group and individual counseling, treatment, and aftercare, as well as extensive character building skills that will enable the individual to transition positively and successfully into society. We take a comprehensive approach to treating addiction. Because we are a small facility we are able to devote more one on one time with our clients, and it is a more family type atmosphere. We are located in the Sierras surrounded by beautiful mountains and crystal clear lakes with miles of trails for hiking.
We offer experiential outdoor therapy which includes getting outside and into nature. Outside time in the natural world is a break for our brains. Fresh air and open spaces provide a reset. Uncluttered environments and distance from technologies give our minds a chance to re-calibrate, reorganize and rest. It’s an opportunity to truly re-position and listen to oneself without the distractions of everyday life. We will be doing activities such as hiking and kayaking.
Activities and Services
Our daily activities are highly structured in our safe, stable environment geared to each individual’s treatment goals. We have 24 hour supervised staff on site at all times. Our licensed and certified staff of Addiction Counselors as well as a staff of medical and dental professionals, providing services to meet the needs of our clients including:

- Personal, group and family therapy
- Job readiness training
- Job ethics training
- Optional transitional living after treatment
- Relapse prevention classes
- Educational classes on the disease of addiction
- Access to 12 step meetings
- Self-esteem, self-worth and identity building classes
- Experiential outdoor therapy
In addition we will be doing a structured “family day” every Sunday inviting family members of clients to come and participate in family therapy and recreational visits.

Since every client’s financial situation is different and unique, our intake staff will go over fees and payment plans prior to admission. All clients will have fees paid or payment plan in place before entering program.
